the Brewhouse
We primarily build 3.5 - 10 Barrel Brewhouses, including Combi-Tanks (Hot Liquor-Mash Tun Combo) and up to 20bbl Hot/Cold Liquor Tanks
Got a cold beer in your hand? We have some stuff to share that we believe you will appreciate knowing. Brewhouses are the hearth of your brewery. These vessels undergo the most thermal stress on any day in the brewery, as much as 145°F per brew, year after year. For this reason, our Made in the USA brewhouses are built burly and complete with every feature a brewer needs to make superb beer. Our Brewhouses are primarily designed for soft hose connections and simple controls. Although it is not particularly common for the Brew Pub scale, we are also capable of building your Brewhouse with process piping. However, at this scale (3.5-10bbl), we believe in building Brewhouses that reduce financial exposure from excessive equipment features that commonly just add cost instead of a solid return on your investment.
We believe in conversations about your specific choices for the equipment you require, or are contemplating. Some manufacturers package everything into what is known as a "turnkey" system, which many times includes equipment or features that you didn't talk about, and didn’t need or want. We believe in providing you a very detailed a la carte style estimate, so you can choose what you need and want. With our estimate, you can see the price of each and every component of the brewery you want to build. We believe it would be doing you a disservice to do this any other way. We are as "turnkey" as you need us to be. Everything you need, nothing you don't want...unlike some turnkey offerings from other companies, that create a "turnkey" package with inferior components to get to a target price point.
Because you are focused on the Brewhouse, we know you may not make it over to our “About” page (or maybe now you will). If you have read this far, we may as well bring up what we are “not about”. We are not about telling you we have excellent customer service and quality products at competitive prices built by skilled craftsmen. You’ve read that before, many times. You’ve heard it over and over. Its almost comical how so many equipment builders state something like that, perhaps believing that you may choose them because of choice words or catch phrases they think you want to hear. The fact really is that this statement describes what you would only expect at a bare minimum from any resource that you do business with. You know by now that Stainless Steel Brewing Equipment is a significant portion of the new brew pub’s start-up or size-up budget, and when you fund this project, its a big, big deal. What’s real talk is what we may have to say about ourselves is not important. Your peers, the brewers out there using our equipment, have the story you want to hear. On our home page you will find the names and locations of all our customers. Because craft beer is a happy business, and brewers are the most collaborative professionals there are, we invite you to reach out to them and get their story.
Besides your brewing staff and cicerones’ interface with your patrons, your brewhouse is a major focal point of your business. As the builder of your equipment, we become a significant component of your journey, often beginning several years before our first weld on your Brew Kettle. The result of our work is the beginning of your signature craft beer products, that your guests will keep coming back for, and tell others about. Because we specialize in Brew Pub Start-Ups and existing brew pubs sizing up their system, we commonly have conversations about where you can shave equipment costs, including what equipment items can be added later. We compile many of these ideas and philosophies into document we provide called Forgeworks Budget Beliefs.
